As a renowned Model, She has worked with the best fashion houses and graced catwalks both home and abroad. Mary then went on to single handedly establish one of the leading Modelling & Events Agencies for Ethnic Models in the UK. Through her love of fashion, Mary then founded her design label Mary Shittu Couture, which is well known for elegant designs which can be spotted on Red carpets and Magazines.

Mary is a versatile creative who has accomplished so much and continues to add more titles to her name. Later moving and working in HOLLYWOOD, Mary continued with her work in Fashion & embarked on a Media career. After acquiring great skills from her life and work in Hollywood, Mary moved back to London to put her stamp on the Media industry.

Now combining both of her passions- People and Fashion, Mary is a charismatic, elegant and witty TV Presenter with a top notch style. She has a way with people with an infectious smile, gentle approach and skills which get her guests to relax and open up in an interview.

Mary is known as the Lady that is always at the right place at the time from Red Carpet Events, to Award Shows and film premieres. Mary can be spotted on the other side of the Red Carpet covering the major events, bringing us some juicy and stylish interviews. Women4Africa 2014 Finalists_Media Woman of the Year_Nena UbaniFinalist: Nena Ubani

Country of Origin: Nigeria

Nena Ubani started her presenting career with Voice of Africa Radio as a co-host on The Woman2Woman show and later got her own show. She also worked for Guess radio, a UK urban radio station. She is also a regular face on different TV shows. This multitalented presenter has had the opportunity to interview many leading African and international names including Stevie Wonder and she is also a columnist for Africa world newspaper Ireland.

​Nena is also an experienced talent manager and has worked with many young artists. Her management company, Huntaz Entertainment Records, has developed and promoted talents likes Andrew Bello, JBaby, Chuka Royalty, Selebobo, Dj Kaywise and many more. She then founded Duchess TV and Igbokwenu radio with the aim of providing a platform for promoting talent and positivity in our community.

​Prior to creating her own media platform, Nena had worked in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police London as a youth mentor, engaging young people as a way to combat crime. For this she received an ‘its your community’ award of excellence from o2, recognising the work she did with young people in Haringey and Enfield council. She has also received numerous awards and nominations over the years. 2013 saw her win Nigerian UK based Achiever Award Best Tv Show and BEFFTA Best Online TV.

​Her natural charm is her treasure earning her the adoration of many. She is a sort after speaker. She recently became the international spokesperson and brand ambassador for Le Amy spa in Lagos Nigeria and was also named as one of the judges for the prestigious Mr Africa International. Her TV show, Tea with The Duchess, was recently snapped up by a TV station in UK and also scheduled to start airing in Nigeria very soon. Nena continues to do her work in dignity representing the African woman perfectly wherever she goes.

Country of Origin: Ghana

Nana Churcher is a TV/ Radio host, beauty consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, Executive Producer of The Nana Churcher Show and a director for Body by Vi – a company dedicated to fighting Obesity around the world.

The Nana Churcher show gives a unique look and insight into the lives of extraordinary personalities within the Afro-Caribbean community. It is a 30 minute inspirational and motivational chat show which features guests from around the world on VOX Africa TV (Sky 218). Most especially, the show features outstanding individuals who have excelled in their various professions or vocations and have had incredible impact within their communities. The Nana Churcher Show is one of VOX Africa’s top rated shows on the Sky platform.

Nana Churcher also has a radio show on Voice of Africa Radio (94fm) which promotes community Affairs and business in the African Community.

Nana has had some fabulous interviews with one of the most interesting ones being the interview with former gang member Jermaine Lawlor. Jermaine documented in the interview, his journey from gang affiliation to motivational speaker and Evangelist. He is currently working with young people within his community, motivating them to work hard and stay off the streets.

Nana has also interviewed celebrities like Nollywood star Jim Iyke and His Excellency Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK, Prof Kwaku Danso Boafo.

The latter part of last year Nana Churcher was invited to Hollywood and Malawi for some exclusive interviews.

In Hollywood she had an exclusive interview with one of the K3 brothers; Kwesi Boakye, the teen sensation hitting the big screens and the voice behind Cartoon Networks’, ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’. She also had the opportunity to interview Awarding winning celebrities like; Brandy Norwood, Boris Kodjoe and Erica from Mary Mary.

The Malawian government invited Nana Churcher to lead the promotion of its charitable works and help create awareness of the government’s efforts to stop women abuse, girl child marriages and encourage more girls in education. She is currently working on gaining sponsorships for Girls’ education with the Center for Children’s Affairs organization in Malawi.

As a result of her role in Malawi, Nana Churcher was invited to guest star in the much anticipated Nollywood Movie; Battered in which she played a lawyer.

Nana Churcher also supports several charities and organisations through her personal involvement and the use of her show as a platform.

Driven by her mere passion for Africa, this self-motivated woman continues to drive the debate on the relevance and importance of African creativity to the world’s economy. Her every effort has been to change the perspective in which Africa is being portrayed in the western media. Challenging the mainstream with her creative style of exposing and projecting the contributions, talents and important heritage of Africans.

Whilst projecting Africa, Faustina with her editorial know how has made sure the magazine stood up to global competition adding value to the talents of Africa, not wavering in sourcing and featuring quality content that reflects a true authentic journalism without compromise. Within one year, C.Hub Magazine has covered events from across the globe including high profile personalities , actors, actresses, musicians, authors and people of all walks of life and location. Covering issues ranging from fashion, music, music, movie, people, sports , health, relationship , book reviews and more. In the last year, C.Hub Magazine has had over 1million hits on its various online platforms. Faustina continues to expand her reach as a creative media personality with a recent high profile interview with Frank Eakin the publisher and son of Dr Sue Eakin, who rediscovered and authenticated Solomon Northup’s memoir, now a global motion picture award winning movie – 12 Years A Slave.

The programme is designed as informal, light-hearted, and fun. Touching on some serious issues that are prevalent in our society today, and in particular in the lives of women. The content provides informative knowledge and light hearted entertainment. Thus impacting positively, encouraging and providing guidance to the audience. The Woman is co-produced and hosted by Priscilla.

2015, Nigeria Decides

Priscilla On 2015 is a live interactive television programme, designed as a lively educational tool for members of the Afro Caribbean community. It touches on issues of current affairs within the political arena. Providing information and current knowledge on issues of governance by keeping the audience abreast of development as they unfold. The programmes also teaches on rights and the importance of everyone’s participation in Governance for a better society for all. Thus creating better synergy between the electorate and the elected through live interviews with potential, aspiring / current office holders in government in both Nigeria and The United Kingdom.

Priscilla has interviewed many guests and her style is that of a bubbly, lively character making guests feel comfortable and at ease.

Lola Ogunbadejo is one of the first names that come to mind when discussing prominent faces in the African entertainment scene in Europe. An award-winning presenter (Women4Africa – Media Personality of the year award’2012) and producer, Lola has proven to the world that her brand is a force to be reckoned with. Her flourishing career started a few years ago, at the biggest BME channel in Europe- OHTV.

She has interviewed some of Africa’s biggest celebrities such as Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola, Jim Iyke, P Square, Iyanya, Banky W, 2Face Idibia to name a few on the popular magazine show ‘Afrika Rising’ which aired for 3 years on the award winning channel ‘OHTV’ as well on Africa Magic on DSTV which airs across Africa.

Ever Since the birth of her much awaited exciting magazine show‘Out & About with Lola’ (Also aired on OHTV) which sees the on screen personality attend the most exclusive and anticipated African related events in the capital as well as exclusive celebrity interviews, Lola has ensured that she provides a reputable platform within the diaspora for people to indulge in and educate themselves about the African entertainment scene.

Described as ‘riveting’,‘High quality’ and ‘extremely entertaining’– ‘Out & about with Lola’quickly amassed a huge following throughout the first 13 episode season. The brand is still growing rapidly with Lola being called to cover events internationally, so much so that she filmed most of the second season of her anticipated show in Lagos, Nigeria.

Toyin Moore started out as a Producer and Presenter at DBN in 2004. Producing and Presenting programmes like Today’s Woman, Trends and Talent Hunt. She then went on to become an independent producer, presenting and producing her own Drama/talk show Champions which was syndicated on NTA, SILVERBIRD and MBI.

Moore has produced feature films in conjunction with Nollywood Blockbusters Limited; Tumini’s Song, Patrick 1 and 2. She recently Co-Produced her first TV series @HOMEABROAD, with Michael Cliff Morris, slated to start showing next spring. She is also the queen of premieres with movies such as Odasan and Secret Pasts under her belt, she was recently nominated for The Sierra Leone Excellence Awards For Best Movie Premiere.

She moved to the UK where she is pioneering the new Cinema Culture for African film in Diaspora, convening premieres of African films. Toyin is an inspirational speaker and Director of Love Africa a social /community aid organisation focused on creating a strong identity and promotion of African youths in the Diaspora .
