Dentaa Amoateng is the founder and CEO of GUBA and GUBA Foundation. She is an award-winning British-Ghanaian entrepreneur, philanthropist, manager, producer, TV presenter and an actress. Dentaa founded the GUBA awards in 2009. A passionate advocate for the Ghanaian community; she successfully developed GUBA as a national and international p whilst celebrating the individual and collective achievements in the UK’s vibrant Ghanaian community.
GUBA has since been endorsed by dignitaries and organisations including The Ghana H latform to recognise the achievements of individuals and organisations positively contributing to the Ghanaian community in the UK or Ghana. Through her work with GUBA, and its charity the GUBA Foundation which looks at creating awareness on Autism, she was named the Young Social Entrepreneur of the year in the 2011 Future 100 Awards. In 2013, she was further honoured for her achievements, receiving the annual African Women in Europe Award and being described by the organisers as a “diligent entrepreneur and visionary” and female “icon” to the British-African community.
Prior to her establishment of the GUBA awards, Dentaa has been involved in a number of successful personal projects. She was first introduced to the viewing public in 2006 with her hit TV show: ‘The Dentaa Show’. The Dentaa Show was an entertainment program filled with exclusive interviews from celebrities in Ghana and the UK. It drew in a large number of viewers and solidified her status within the African community. After three seasons of the show, she moved on to co-host Ghana’ s popular music talent show known as ‘Mentor’. She also made several cameo appearances in Easterners, Holby City and Judge John Deed.
Recently Dentaa organised a career fair for those in the Diaspora who wanted to migrate back home. Organisations like RLG Communication and UT Bank were part of the sponsors and recruiters. This was a well-attended event at the Park Plaza Hotel with positive results.

Pily Mirazi went from a school teacher and Executive Member, Teachers Union, South Africa as Gender Convenor (protecting women’s’ rights), to achieving huge success with her fashion model agency in a very competitive market. She has gained a wide reputation for putting on highly successful fashion shows for both commercial and charitable purposes. After establishing her business Spotlight Fashion Models in 2012, she quickly gained an excellent reputation for being great at what she does.
Pily has been given recognition by her peers and fellow South Africans. She was voted ‘Personality Of The Year 2013’ part of the South African Achievers Awards; and for 2012 & 2013 as runner up ‘Rising Star of the Year Award’ in the South African Chamber Of Commerce Annual Awards.

Yetunde Oluwole is the CEO at Bustline Media International, an event planning, artistes promotions/packaging and awards company based in London. Yetunde discovered her passion for event planning during her secondary school days and she carried this passion right through her university days when she was actively involved in the planning of various school events and shows.
She has organised various successful musical shows in the UK, and in 2011, she single-handedly and successfully planned her over 500 guests capacity event called Diamond Special Recognition Awards in London, United Kingdom. The awards’ mission is to recognise and celebrate unknown achievers as well as known achievers who manage to stay on top of their game over the years.
She achieved her dream of making the event global in 2012 when she took it to Nigeria with various personalities in attendance. Biola Agiri Oshin is the CEO of Partyheaven Party Solutions; an event planning company which specialises in kids events. Prior to starting Partyheaven party solutions on 2nd April 2011, Biola worked as a support worker with people with learning difficulties. While working as a support worker, she realised the importance of colours and creativity as an antidote for creating excitement among both young and old. After changing the lives of many young children as a support worker, Biola voluntarily resigned her appointment to pursue another career she was passionate about but despite leaving the job, Biola has continued to volunteer with various charity organizations within and outside the shores of the United Kingdom. Only recently she was among a team of volunteers who decorated Great Ormond Street Hospital(GOSH), so that the children will not miss out on the excitement of Christmas and also supports FoodClique Supports initiative in Nigeria.
The efforts, dedication and work productivity of Biola has not gone unnoticed as in 2013, Partyheaven party solutions was nominated for ” Best Events Decorator” in the Nigerian Events Awards 2013, and the events solutions company ended up as 2nd runner up in the keenly contested award.
