26-year-old Tracy Ababio has just started a specialty breakfast and lunch delivery service in Accra. Tracy says ‘The Lunch Box’ is something she has wanted to do for 2 years. Although the company will officially be opened on December 20, orders are already coming in.
At first glance the sandwiches, look like good ‘ol Americana indulgence, Tracy says the Lunch Box Menu is actually part of a larger goal to introduce tasty, and nutritious food to the Accra public.
The Lunch Box uses low or non-fat dairy products, soybean and olive oil, supplements oat flour for white flour, uses real organic fruits, does not use any additives, sweeteners, or flavor syrups, and offers a range of wheat, multigrain, and health bread options for the health conscious.
Her big GoWoman dream is to introduce the Ghanaian public to “food trucks”, this she says she hopes to accomplish in another couple years.
On Saturday November 23, Tracy will be taking her Lunch Box Ghana goodies to the Lincoln Community School Bazaar.
We wish Tracy best of luck as she starts this new venture, and we encourage all young women to follow their dreams. She did it! So can you!
The Lunch Box Menu will includes:
Caesar Chicken Wraps
Smokey BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
