Small Business Profile: In Ayewa’s Shop in Accra, Ghana

Across West Africa there are thousands of female entrepreneurs and shop owners. Some call them market women, others call them business women. We call them GoWomen, women who find a way where there isn’t one.

Ayewa is a boutique in Osu in Accra, Ghana. Its owner is 29, year old Ayewa who is a real estate agent and a shop owner. Her big GoWoman dream is to own a string of Ayewa shops and to develop her real estate business.
