Sierra Leonean Orphan turned World Class Ballerina Michael DePrince looks stunning in a current feature in Glamour Magazine. The 20 years old who was first introduced to the world in the documentary First Pointe is now a member of Dutch National Ballet Company.

MGM just bought the film rights to her memoir ‘Taking Flight‘. The memoir is DePrince’s journey from being “Orphan Number 27” to one of the few black classical ballerinas in the world.

  1. I love this magazine! A big congratulations to all of your wonderful team. Fantastic reporting and excellent quality and value for money. I need to get a hold of 6 copies the May/June Ebola issue. I am based in London, United Kingdom. Do you have a distributor here? Alternatively if you have distributor in New York then I can ask my niece to purchase.

Keep up the Fantastic work and stay blessed.
