This week Facebook announced the opening of its first office on the African continent and appointed Nunu Ntshingila-Njeke of Ogilvy & Mather SA as its boss.
Ms. Ntshingila-Njeke holds an MBA from Morgan State University and a BA from the University of Swaziland. She also has a Diploma in Advertising from AAA School of Advertising.
Prior to her appointment to Facebook she served as the head of Ogilvy & Mather’s efforts in South Africa and in the rest of the continent. She is one of 30 global advertising executives on the company’s board.

She will leave Ogilvy in August to start work at Facebook Africa in September.
