Lifetime is the new female centred entertainment channel recently unveiled by Multichoice Africa and A+E Networks, with an emphasis on fresh and uplifting content. It is now available on DStv channel 131 to all premium subscribers and will engage and inspire viewers with a winning formula of quality-scripted dramas, original movies and factual entertainment shows. The launch wll expand the female-focused content portfolio on DStv with a brand that will sit alongside channels like TLC Entertainment, Style Network and BBC Lifestyle.

On the 27 July at 20:00 CAT, Flowers in the Attic was aired, another Lifetime Original Movie based on V. C. Andrews’ controversial, cult classic book. It is the twisted tale of four siblings who, after their father’s unexpected death, are convinced by their mother to hide in the attic of their grandparents’ mansion so she can reclaim the family fortune.
