Music must. Who are you listening to at the moment?
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. But I almost always have some Whitney and Jill Scott on rotation.

Fashion’s finest. From shoes to couture, who is your favourite designer?
I love red bottoms & Jimmy Choo! Also Valentino. But more often than not you’ll see me wearing something from a long list of African designers I adore including Duaba Serwaa, Ameyo and Wana Sambo.
What is your must have beauty accessory?
All I need is my Ruby Woo lipstick.
Perfect Holiday Destination?
Paris! I’m all for romance & love. I’d be at home there.
Who or what inspires you to create? How do you get in the zone?
I’m inspired by life and my family, the things that happen to me or to people I know, I feed off that energy.
When did you realise that making music could be a way of life for you?
After University, at first I really just did it because I loved to sing and before I knew it, I had a fanbase asking me when my next show was!
What songs (either yours or from other artists), make up the soundtrack of your life?
Most of my songs are from specific moments or things I’ve been through or seen in my own life. It is usually not a full song, just a moment here, a memory there.
Any advice for up and coming artists?
As much as possible, no matter what happens, try & be yourself & do the things that you’ll be happy to live with.
Who are your music icons?
I’d have to go with Beyonce & Lana Del Rey.
If you could duet with anyone in the world who would it be?
Rihanna. And I don’t know if you can call that a “duet” but I’d love to make music with Jay Z.
Jay Z because he’s arguably the best rapper of our time and Rihanna because of her energy and her voice and how far she’s taken it.
