Erykah Badu’s new hair do is a Kid-N-Play throwback: The high top fade

Erykah Badu high top fade

Check out Erykah Badu’s high top fade. She and her stylists are always thinking outside of black hair convention, and I loves it. Although it was India Arie that said “I am not my hair”, it is Erykah Badu that has lived it.  If there is one artist who constantly delivers whether in performance, on a record, or in style its Erykah Badu. The only thing I love more than her style, is her music. She is one of those few artists whose albums I buy before I hear a single, or see a video. If its a Badu, it will speak to my soul guaranteed.
