Airtel Ghana’s new boss Lucy Quist is first woman to head a Telco

Airtel Ghana has announced that Lucy Quist currently at Vodafone will take over as the telecommunications company’s number 1 come May 2014. Quist is first woman from Ghana to head a telco.

Lucy Quist is a British and Ghanaian senior telecommunications leader. Her vast experience covers both fixed, mobile and value added services for consumers and enterprises. Her strength in Sales and Marketing is bolstered by her technical understanding of the industry. She is a Chartered Electrical and Electronic Engineer (UK) who speaks English (native) and French (business). She also has basic skills in Portuguese. She has a proven track record of leading teams across Europe and Africa to deliver superior results. Her passion lies in developing people.
